Marketing and product strategies for business

We look at a business as a system: where it is now, where it is heading and what is holding it back. That picture shapes the strategy, and the strategy shapes the product and marketing.

“The business is growing, but there is no system or clear plan” “Lots of ideas, but no product or packaging” “We don’t know where to go next” “It’s unclear who we are and what sets us apart” “We have a team, but no one to direct it” “Ads are running, but there are no leads”
Who it’s for: an operating business with revenue, where there are numbers and an owner who makes decisions themselves.

Reviews

What clients say

“In early 2025, together with Space, we developed a business development strategy and a product strategy: a roadmap, goal breakdown, audience work and market understanding. We saw the gaps we had and implemented almost all the recommendations. The result of the year — multifold revenue growth. We built an org structure, trained our managers and set up departments. The company became a real, solid business.” Ruslan · founder and director of Prosecco Show
“I came with scattered ideas and no understanding of how to turn them into a business. We structured the idea, defined what we were doing, why and for what reason, packaged the product and got all the way to full implementation. The result — a launched project and the first money. I especially value the calm, systematic support at every stage.” Ksenia · stylist, fashion · packaging and consultations
“The work is clearly organized: structure, clear logic, deadlines met and high engagement. Following the discovery sessions, we rethought the original task and adjusted our direction, which saved us from mistakes. The brand’s foundation took shape: who we are, what we stand for and where we are heading.” Andrey · operator of signature travel experiences
“After the call — a sea of energy and clarity about where to go next. I got much more than I expected.” Eleonora · travel agency

How we work

A four-stage system.
Each next stage is your call

The stages go in order, but you never commit to the full scope upfront: after each one you decide whether to continue.

STEP 0

Intro and briefing

20 minutes on Zoom to understand the request and get a feel for each other.

We clarify the task and budget and decide which stage to start with. This is a briefing, not a consultation: answers about your business start at stage one.

Free20 minutes
STAGE 1

Consultation

An hour and a half on your business. As a result, we identify your growth points, you get answers to your business questions, and we outline possible ways to solve your business tasks and the scope of work needed to get results — with us or with other teams.

Paid from the first minute — the work already starts during the consultation. We do not offer free consultations.

€27090 minutes
STAGE 2

Audit and 90-day growth plan

In one week we review marketing and channels, product, pricing and competitors.

The output is a 90-day growth plan: what pays off within a month and what within a quarter. After the audit it becomes clear whether a strategy is needed and which one.

€1,1505–7 days
STAGE 3

Strategy development

One of four tracks — business strategy, product packaging, marketing or communication strategy — depending on what the audit showed. Communication and channels are pointless until the economics and the product are in place.

Only available after a consultation or audit: without the numbers of a specific business, a strategy rests on assumptions.

€1,900–3,7003–8 weeks

Business strategy

from €3,7006–8 weeks

What do we make money on, and why this way?

Business model and product economics, unit economics by segment, pricing. Competitor analysis, market research, niche definition. Customer base review and growth points. Adjacent lines that drive revenue and grow the average order. And, separately, what to stop doing.

Product packaging

from €2,9504–6 weeks

What exactly do we sell, and what does it cost?

Finding and articulating the core values of the product and the company. Target audience and segments. The product itself, its boundaries and price. A product line with a clear path between products and a repeat-purchase model.

Marketing strategy

from €2,1003–4 weeks

Which channels will work for this business?

A marketing mix built for the specific model, not a generic set. How channels work, the funnel from first touch to payment, metrics and control ranges. Decision level, not execution: we don’t set up ads, write copy or design layouts.

Communication strategy

from €1,9003 weeks

How do we talk about it?

Tone of voice and communication system. Positioning and messages by segment. Rules that keep marketing, PR and SMM pulling in one direction.

STAGE 4

Ongoing support

A fractional marketing director format: once a month we review your numbers, adjust the course and go through with the team what has been done and what comes next. We stay in touch between reviews.

It solves the main reason strategies fail: nobody follows the execution. From three months. Extended format with work inside the team — €1,700.

Working rules

What we agree on upfront

01

Midpoint check-in

We always check in at the midpoint. If the findings diverge from the original task, work stops and we re-agree the direction. No surprises at the end.

02

“It’s not a marketing problem” is also a result

Sometimes the audit shows the problem lies in how the business itself is set up. That is a full result: it saves more than it costs. This outcome is agreed in advance and paid for on standard terms.

03

There has to be someone to execute

Before we start, we name the person on your side who will put the results to work. If there is no such person, we take on the ongoing support format. Conclusions without someone to execute don’t turn into money.

04

Pause on silence

If there is no reply for five business days or payment is delayed, work is paused and we let you know.

Honestly

Who we are not a fit for

Better to find out now than in week three.

  • Projects without revenue — except startups at launch. Our work relies on numbers. If the product is already on the market but isn’t selling, there is nothing to measure, and any conclusion remains a matter of taste. For a startup at launch, we gather the numbers ourselves — through market research and a financial model.
  • Those looking for confirmation. We come to test, not to agree. If the decision has been made and you need it justified, we are not the right fit.
  • Working through an intermediary without access to you. If we can’t talk to the person whose business it is, we can’t be accountable for the result.
  • Those who need hands. We don’t set up ads, run social media or design layouts.
  • Expecting revenue within a month. Finding where money is leaking can take a week. Stopping the leak takes at least a quarter.

Founder of Space

Every project, personally

Marketing and product strategies for business.

Product and marketing director with many years of in-house experience. Projects in manufacturing, e-commerce, services, fintech, events and travel — Russia, Europe, Latin America, the US and the UAE.

This experience underpins every project: you get a complete picture of the business — where it is heading, what product it needs and how to talk about it. First the system and the strategy, then the product and marketing that follow from it.

We build systems that produce products people love and want to buy — and businesses that bring their owners joy. The core task of almost any project is product-market fit: finding the audience that truly needs the product, not the one that is cheapest to reach with ads. First who and why, then how much and through which channel.

Space is a consulting agency run personally by its founder: she does the analysis, decisions and strategy herself. For specific tasks we bring in trusted specialists — analytics, design, research.

We take on four or five projects at a time. It is a deliberate limit: analysis requires full immersion, and ongoing support requires constant attention to the numbers.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How is a commercial strategy different from a marketing strategy?

A commercial strategy answers what the business makes money on: unit economics, pricing, revenue model, product line. A marketing strategy answers how to talk about it: positioning, channels, funnel. Marketing is the lower level of a commercial strategy. Developing it for a business with unclear economics is pointless: it speeds up spending, not profit growth.

Why does revenue grow while profit stays flat?

Most often there are three reasons. First: customer acquisition cost grows faster than the average order, so each new unit of revenue brings less margin. Second: the range includes negative-margin items that drag the rest down. Third: prices were not revised as costs went up. All three show up in unit economics if you calculate it by segment rather than as a company average.

How much does business strategy development cost?

At Space, a business strategy costs from €3,700 and takes 6–8 weeks. Product packaging — from €2,950 over 4–6 weeks. Marketing strategy — from €2,100 over 3–4 weeks. Communication strategy — from €1,900 over 3 weeks. A strategy is only available after an audit: without the numbers of a specific business it rests on assumptions.

What is the audit and 90-day growth plan, and what does it include?

It is a short 5–7 day engagement costing €1,150. It covers marketing and channels, product, pricing and competitive position. The output is a 90-day growth plan — what pays off within a month and what within a quarter — and a recommendation on whether a strategy is needed and which one. Implementation is not included.

How is a consulting agency different from an execution agency?

An execution agency sells capacity: the number of hands, channels and deliverables per month, and is chosen on price per volume. A consulting agency sells judgment: what exactly should happen and why. The executor is responsible for execution, the consultant for the decision. That is why you hire an executor when you know what to do, and a consultant when you don’t — or when previous decisions stopped working.

How can you tell a business needs strategy rather than advertising?

Three signs. First: a bigger ad budget grows revenue but not profit. Second: customers buy once and don’t come back — the problem is the product or price, not traffic. Third: different channels convert equally poorly, which points to the offer, not the channel. If at least two signs match, it is too early to put money into advertising.

Do you offer free consultations?

No. The first consultation costs €270 and lasts 90 minutes, because the work already starts there: the situation is analysed and first observations are formulated. Only the 20-minute intro call is free — it clarifies the task and budget but gives no answers.

What is ongoing support and why is it needed after a strategy?

Ongoing support is monthly work from €1,150 with a 3-month minimum: reviewing the numbers, adjusting the course and working with the client’s team. It solves the main reason strategies fail: nobody follows the execution, and within a month the company slips back to the old way of doing things. A strategy without support remains a document.
